About Mia

Mia is a shy but gentle girl who was surrendered alongside three other dogs when her owner could no longer care for them. She's taking her time to adjust to her new environment. In the yard, Mia carefully examines everything around her while staying close to her human. Although initially nervous, she gradually begins to seek out attention. Mia is easy to harness and is making good progress learning to walk on a leash. Ideal for a family willing to let her develop at her own pace, Mia is also friendly with both dogs and cats, which makes her transition easier. The shelter operates by appointment only. Interested adopters are encouraged to submit an application prior to scheduling a meeting. The staff is understanding, ready to accommodate inquiries, and can’t wait to help you meet Mia.
