About Pops

Meet Pops, a senior Border Collie type searching for a loving forever home. He came to us after experiencing some upheaval in his life following the loss of his previous owner. Although he was involved in an incident with another dog, Pops has not shown aggression toward the other dogs in the shelter, and he is actually quite good with cats and horses. At an estimated 13 years old, he likely spent much of his life outdoors but has been reported to be housebroken. Pops is looking for a compassionate companion to enjoy his golden years with. If you think you could provide a warm and welcoming environment for this gentle soul, please consider meeting him. The shelter is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM, or you can call 530-623-1370, option 1, with any questions. Your new best friend is just one click away.
