About Hazel

Hazel is eagerly awaiting her forever home. Born in mid-December, she’s a 7-month-old mix of German Shorthaired Pointer and Husky. Hazel’s playful and affectionate nature shines through her quick learning ability, especially when treats are involved. This sweet girl remained calm during thunderstorms and fireworks, finding comfort in snuggling without a peep. Potty trained and crate-friendly, she sleeps peacefully through the night on her dog bed. Hazel gets along beautifully with kids and adults, adapting well to new environments. Though generally quiet, she occasionally barks when other dogs are nearby. Active in short bursts, Hazel appreciates a good walk and a fenced yard to explore. She’s still mastering leash manners but is making progress. Hazel thrives on daily exercise but also enjoys downtime, so she’s best suited for homes without smaller animals. Currently fostered in Essexville, MI, she is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Click apply to start the adoption process.
