About Marley & Rae
Meet Marley and Rae, a bonded pair of tuxedo brothers who are about to steal your heart. At 8 years old, these two handsome boys came to us as surrenders, and they absolutely need to be adopted together. Rae the dignified brother might seem serious at first glance, but don't let that fool you. Underneath is a cat who craves affection and is vocal about it. Whether he’s seeking a lap to curl up in or enjoying a belly rub, his chatty nature shines through. Though he keeps a watchful eye from his high perch, he has a playful side, especially when a laser pointer is around, even if he pretends to be too mature for such antics. Marley, on the other hand, is a total lovebug. His curious and charming personality makes him an instant favorite. He, too, enjoys laser pointers and loves to watch the world outside from his perch. Marley thrives on social dining and tends to eat better when you keep him company, so he's likely to expect you to stick around. Rae has been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), leading to a condensed life expectancy. While he requires regular vet check-ups and a low-sodium diet, he seeks a loving family that understands his condition and cherishes the moments spent together. Both of these mature boys thrive in calm environments and appreciate attentive humans who don’t mind their charming chatter. They will reward you with loyalty, love, and endless entertainment.
