Meet Talia – a perfect companion for any adventure. Recently, she took a Snout & About trip to Baseline Trailhead, and her energy was infectious. As soon as she stepped out of her kennel, she was ready to go, bursting with excitement and joy. A potty break? Not until after she’s had her fun. Talia is affectionate and loves to be around people, immediately warming up to her handlers with gentle nudges and plenty of happy vocalizations. Getting into the car was a comical scene; she was eager but had a little trouble with her back end, making sure to join the ride with her signature enthusiasm. On the trail, she was a social butterfly, comfortably handling the hustle and bustle of bikes, strollers, and hikers. Talia greeted everyone with warmth, loving the attention and soaking it all up. She has a strong, athletic build and pulls quite hard on the leash, channeling her excitement into powerful strides. With ongoing leash training, she needs a physically strong and confident handler who can guide her while she learns the art of relaxed walks. If a gym buddy is what you're after, Talia can help with that! When it comes to other dogs, Talia has had some challenges. She may do best as an only pet, as she has shown a strong reaction to canine distractions in the past. Management and guidance will be crucial in navigating her interactions. However, once the initial excitement fades, she can settle well and truly enjoy her adventures—especially when given some freedom in quiet areas. Overall, Talia is ready for a home that understands her high energy and strength. In return, she offers loyalty, playfulness, and a spirit full of life.
