After overcoming a tough life as a stray, Ruckus has a heart full of love and adventure waiting to be shared. He is crate trained, house trained with a routine, and absolutely adores cozy beds and friends to play with. It's important that Ruckus goes to a home with another friendly canine companion, as he loves to socialize and play with fellow dogs. He also gets along well with kids and cats, given proper introductions. Ruckus has a gentle nature, but he’s still learning to navigate the world confidently after a minor leg injury that has made him cautious around cars. He would thrive in a secure yard (4-foot fence or higher), with older, dog-savvy children who can keep an eye on him. Ruckus does best with supervision around doors and gates and a commitment to keeping him leashed, as he can be a flight risk if startled. Neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped, Ruckus is ready for a loving family who will cherish him.
