About Callie

Callie is a resilient dog whose life took a difficult turn. Once surrounded by her family, she has faced an unexpected journey after being placed in a truck, leaving her familiar world behind. What was supposed to be a temporary stop in a safe place became her new reality after her family stopped reaching out. Now, Callie, a kind 6-year-old Lab/Catahoula mix, weighs around 50 lbs and has the gentlest soul. Among her fellow dogs, she has found solace and routine. Callie is affectionate and takes treats with care, adoring belly rubs and being a vigilant companion, always aware of her surroundings. For months, she patiently waited for her family to return, holding onto hope and love. When the rescue received heartbreaking news that she was no longer wanted, Callie's wait continued. This lovely girl deserves a forever home where she can feel chosen and cherished once again. Are you the one she's been waiting for? Adoption fee is $350, which includes transport to the Midwest, Northeast, or Southeast.
