Meet Kiba. Kiba's journey began overseas in Rwanda, where she was welcomed into a loving family. After her owner brought her to the United States, Kiba became a loyal companion over the years. Unfortunately, life changes have made it difficult for her owner to give Kiba the attention she deserves, leading to the decision to find Kiba a new loving home. At 9 years old, Kiba is a delightful blend of adventure and companionship. Calm and well-mannered, she thrives on being near her people, whether that's relaxing in the living room or enjoying time outdoors. With a gentle presence, Kiba fits in easily and is fully crate-trained, respecting household routines. She loves affection and being a part of the family. Kiba is always ready for outdoor adventures. She walks beautifully on a leash, obeys commands, and enjoys exploring nature. Water outings are her favorite, whether it’s a beach trip or a stroll by a river. Kiba also loves car rides and is eager to be your co-pilot. Intelligent and eager to please, Kiba is easy to train, although her natural prey drive means she keeps an eye on squirrels and rabbits. During walks, she generally ignores other dogs unless they engage her. Kiba seeks a family that will appreciate her loyalty and mature temperament. She still has a lot of life and love to give and hopes to find a forever home where she can be a cherished member of the family.
