About Scottie
Meet Scottie! This sweet and playful 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix is eagerly waiting to find her forever home. Scottie, with her lovely tricolor coat, can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side shines through. She adores cuddling with her favorite people and has an endearing habit of smiling when she’s excited, a goofy grin that’s bound to make you smile back. With a moderate energy level, Scottie enjoys spending quality time with her people, playing with other dogs, and going for walks in the park. She currently weighs around 40 lbs and is making great progress in building her confidence in new situations. While she gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, she can be a little shy with new people, so a home with older or dog-savvy children would suit her best. Scottie thrives in a loving and patient environment where her family is committed to helping her continue to grow. Although we don’t know how she interacts with cats, she’s known to have a foodie side—she’ll happily sample another dog's bowl if given the chance. A friendly dog companion would be a fantastic bonus for her journey. If you're ready to welcome an affectionate and loyal companion into your home, Scottie may just be the perfect match for you!
