About Mika

Meet Mika. This lovely 3-year-old Belgian Malinois found herself in need of a new home when her previous owner could no longer provide the care she deserves. Mika has a playful side, enjoying water play and chasing tennis balls—a perfect way to bond with her. While she can be nervous around new people, she's a sweet and gentle soul at heart. When approached gently, Mika prefers calm introductions, and once she feels at ease, she will happily settle at your feet for some gentle pets. It's clear she hasn't had much socialization, so she’s still discovering how comforting and loving people can be. Mika tends to bark when outside as she observes her surroundings, demonstrating her personality. A secure yard is a must, as she's quite the jumper, capable of clearing a six-foot fence. Future adopters should also note that she should be in an adult-only home. Ready to welcome Mika into your life? She’s waiting for you to take that exciting step!
