About Frito

Frito is a 7-month-old neutered Chihuahua mix who has shown incredible resilience despite a rocky start to life. Rescued from a high-intake shelter alongside his mother and siblings, he came into care with little socialization and a lot of uncertainties. Now, Frito has blossomed into a playful and curious young dog. Though he can be shy when meeting new friends, a bit of patience goes a long way. Once he feels at ease, his affectionate and playful personality shines through. He enjoys exploring and playing with his canine companions, and he thrives in the company of people he trusts. Frito is seeking a loving home where his new family understands the needs of a shy dog and allows him the time he needs to adjust. As he builds confidence, he will show you just how joyful and loving he can be. He’s ready to find a family that will cherish him for the wonderful little dog he is.
