He came to the rescue when his elderly owner could no longer care for him, so he did not have many opportunities to interact with new people. Initially shy, Max warms up with time. Once he trusts you, he becomes an incredibly friendly and affectionate companion. He enjoys being active, loves walks, and has a playful spirit, often doing zoomies in the yard. Max needs a patient and understanding home that allows him the time to decompress and build trust. Max is already house trained, neutered, and current on vaccines.
