About Lexie Arriving D
Lexie is a clever and affectionate puppy who perfectly balances playful energy with snuggly sweetness. She loves to play tug-of-war and race around the yard with her dog friends. Once playtime is over, she’ll happily climb into your lap for cuddles. Lexie is great with other respectful dogs and enjoys games of chase or friendly wrestling. She hasn’t been introduced to cats or children yet, but being a young puppy, she can adapt well with thoughtful introductions and positive socialization. Lexie's journey has been remarkable. After she developed an upper respiratory infection at a crowded shelter in Texas, she was fortunate to get the care she needed in foster home. She’s now a happy, healthy puppy ready to embrace all the joys of life. Ideal for an active family, Lexie will thrive with ongoing training, consistency, and socialization. A basic obedience class would be a great fit for her eager-to-learn mindset. If you're looking for a puppy who’s ready for adventures, will make you laugh, and then curl up next to you at the end of the day, you should consider meeting Lexie! Lexie will be arriving in Minnesota on 7/25/2026, and must be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between 9am and noon. Be aware that as part of the Foster to Adopt program, she may require additional veterinary care once she arrives. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
