Athena loves to be close to her people, whether it's while curling up on the couch, following you from room to room, or resting her head in your lap. Her happiest moments are spent by your side. With her funny personality and playful zoomies, she's sure to keep you entertained. Once she gets comfortable, her goofy side truly shines, bringing laughter and joy into your life. While she can be a bit shy around men, with patience and kindness, Athena blossoms into the affectionate dog she was born to be. Watching her grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding. She gets along well with other dogs, and we encourage her adoption into a home with a confident canine companion who can help her embrace the joys of being a dog. Having another dog would be ideal for Athena's happiness. Currently, she's adapting to crate time, and her new family should be willing to support her as she builds positive associations with it. She's already making strides, using a crate for bedtime and when her foster family leaves the house.
