About Bentley
Meet Bentley, a charming little guy who came to us with his brother Watson after their owner moved to assisted living. Bentley is a lively Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise mix who has the personality of a big dog in a small package. He’s quite talkative and enjoys interacting with his surroundings. Bentley does well with other dogs but tends to prefer medium to smaller companions and is a bit nervous around larger breeds. He is adjusting to cats, showing a gentle curiosity towards them. Bentley has been around children 12 years and older and gets along with them just fine. Though Bentley has a common birth defect known as Angular Limb Deformity (ALD), it doesn’t slow him down. He requires a bit of extra care, including maintaining an ideal weight and providing gentle exercise like walking. Bentley is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, except for Rabies, which he will receive on July 17, 2026. His adoption fee is $400, and if you consider adopting him with his brother, that fee will be discounted. For more information or to discuss adoption, please reach out to Bentley's foster parent at (218)371-1212 or (218)640-1930. Inquiries after 9 PM will receive a response the following day.
