About Chance

Meet Chance! This precious boy is a 6-8 month old lab mix with a heartwarming story. Chance was found abandoned in a wire crate on the roadside. Unfortunately, it appeared that he had been hit by a car, resulting in severe road rash and a front leg that had to be amputated. Now, he is on the mend in a loving foster home. Despite his past, Chance radiates happiness and affection. He loves other dogs and is very food motivated, always eager to please. His foster family reports that he’s adapting remarkably well to life on three legs, managing to navigate steps to access the yard where he enjoys sniffing around and lounging in the sun. While he’s learning the ropes of house training, he’s already shown great progress with minimal accidents. Chance has also met children, including his foster’s 6 and 9-year-old nephews, who he adored. He enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, and eagerly anticipates meal times. This sweet boy deserves a loving home to ensure the rest of his life is filled with joy and comfort. Could that home be yours? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
