About Ollie

Ollie is a 6-year-old, 73 lb sweetheart who was found wandering an apartment complex and left unclaimed. Now, he’s ready to find a family who will cherish him. This easygoing guy is friendly and a joy to be around. He walks nicely on a leash with no pulling or jumping, and he approaches new situations with impressive confidence. Ollie even hopped right into the grooming room and climbed into the bathtub without hesitation. He responds to commands like "sit" and "lay down" and is likely housetrained. Ollie enjoys attention but isn’t demanding about it—just give him a ball and some space to romp, and he’s quite content. He feels like the type of dog who would settle into a home quickly, given his friendly and uncomplicated nature. As always, it’s a good idea for resident dogs to meet any new family members before finalizing the adoption. If you’re bringing a current dog for an introduction, please bring proof of their vaccinations. You can meet Ollie at the Guilford County Animal Shelter in Greensboro, NC, from 12-4 pm any day except Tuesdays, no appointment needed. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
