About Matilda
Matilda has had a rough start in life. As a stray for an unknown period, she endured hardships before being rescued. Now about a year old, this Rat Terrier has appeared to have been raised in the wilderness, resulting in her being quite shut down. She’s had trouble adjusting in the rescue and still shows signs of being fearful of humans. Though she has made progress, Matilda remains sensitive and in need of a patient, loving environment. When she’s alone, you might catch glimpses of her playful side as she interacts with toys and runs around. This beautiful girl will thrive in a home with a secure fenced yard and someone committed to helping her learn to trust. It may take time, but we believe she can become the loving companion she was meant to be. If you feel you could be her saving grace, please consider adopting or fostering her. Location: South Lyon, MI. Your new best friend is just one click away.
