Meet Bubba! This little guy has a playful personality that shines bright, despite a challenging start to life. Bubba was just 4 weeks old when he arrived at the city shelter, weighing less than a pound. He was diagnosed with Megaesophagus, meaning he eats in an upright position and stays upright for 20 to 30 minutes afterward. His foster mom got him a Bailey chair, and now mealtime is a pro routine for him. At 10 months old and weighing 20 pounds, Bubba isn't expected to grow much more. He loves playing with other dogs and has done wonderfully living alongside cats in his foster home. This social, affectionate pup is always up for fun. Whether he's outside chasing flies or cozying up inside with his humans, Bubba has developed excellent house manners. He knows when it’s time to wake up, rides wonderfully in the car, and waits patiently to arrive at his destination. At night, he happily settles into his kennel around 10:00 p.m. and rarely has accidents overnight. Bubba doesn’t let his diagnosis hold him back; he simply needs a family willing to dedicate a little extra time during mealtimes in return for a lifetime filled with love, loyalty, and laughter.
