About Maxwell

Maxwell is a playful and affectionate young male Labrador Retriever. He loves running, playing with squeaky toys, and enjoys car rides. You'll find him enthusiastic about catching a ball, but don't be surprised if he gives you a little sass or a pout when he wants your attention. Maxwell has cleverly figured out how to free his leash to request extra walks, showing off his smart side. This lovable guy is crate trained and prefers his crate as a cozy sleeping spot. He is outdoor potty trained and uses the doggie door like a champ. Although he gets along well with his small foster dog siblings, he tends to guard his food, so feeding him separately is currently best. Maxwell is eager to learn and already knows commands like sit, paw, and go in the crate. His excitement sometimes leads to jumping up, but he's working on his manners. Maxwell would be a wonderful addition to any family looking for a loving companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
