About Shelby

Meet Shelby, a delightful and shy young lady who's full of potential! Weighing just under 30 lbs, this petite sweetheart has room to grow and should settle around 40 lbs when she's at her healthiest. Shelby came to us as a stray, and while she's still getting used to the big world around her, her gentle spirit shines through. Initially, she can be a bit timid, often tucking her tail and sitting low to the ground when nervous, but don’t let that fool you—once she feels safe, her joy bursts out in happy wiggles and sweet kisses. Currently, Shelby is brushing up on her leash manners and is discovering the joys of playing fetch; she's a polite pup who happily lets you take the ball from her mouth. She enjoys the company of people and greets friendly canine neighbors with curiosity, suggesting she'd thrive with a calm, confident dog to help her adjust. With a little love and patience, Shelby is set to become the joyful and confident companion she’s meant to be. She’s already the staff’s favorite at The Rescued Pack, and it won’t take long for you to see why!
