About Zest

Meet Zest, a lively male husky-shepherd mix, ready to jump into your heart. Born on February 21, 2026, Zest is still a small puppy, expected to grow to around 30-40 pounds. He was rescued from the streets along with his mom and ten siblings, and now he’s looking for his forever home thanks to The Cantu Foundation. Zest is pee pad trained and eager to learn more. While he isn't crate-trained yet, he's excited to master leash training with your help. This little guy is known for his affectionate and playful nature, making him a joy to be around. Zest gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, and while he hasn't met any cats yet, he’s sure they would be friends too. Despite being a little nervous and experiencing separation anxiety, Zest's loving spirit shines through. He truly enjoys cuddles and attention. His ideal home would include a doggy companion and a yard where he can play and grow. His adoption fee is $550, covering his first year of vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
