Since joining Paws and Claws, she's discovered the joy of a plush cat bed, a reliable bowl of dry food — her favorite — and the warmth of a human lap for co-sleeping. Her playful side shines with newfound toys like lumps under the rug and heavy rubber bands, and she's embraced the role of lapcat, basking in the sun and asking for extra meals. Mermaid might not be everyone's ideal feline companion, but she just needs that one special person who sees her for who she is and recognizes her potential as a loyal sidekick and maybe even a best friend.
