He loves pools, hoses, and puddles, making every splash an opportunity for fun. This smart pup has an impressive command list; he knows how to sit, shake (both paws!), and even say his prayers. Food and toy motivators keep him engaged and eager to learn, making training a breeze. He’s currently mastering his “drop it” command and enjoys retrieving anything from tennis balls to sticks. Scrappy is crate and potty trained, great with other dogs, and adores everyone he meets. While he can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting new people, he’s learning to express calm behavior to receive affection. He’s also good with cats, although his excitement may spark a playful chase. Therefore, a home without cats or with an experienced owner would be best for him. This loving boy would thrive in an active family environment.
