Nyla is altered and her vaccinations are up to date, making her ready for a new home. Though she hasn’t been around cats or children, she gets along well with other dogs and is excited to start the next chapter of her life.

Nyla is a sweet young sato in search of her forever home. At just one year old, this lovely Labrador mix weighs around 24 lbs. She's currently in a shelter in Puerto Rico but needs a dedicated foster or adoptive family in the Washington, DC area to join her. Nyla gets along well with other dogs and would thrive best in an environment where she can socialize and explore. Since she’s still getting accustomed to the world around her, potential adopters with a resident dog or the commitment to take her on regular walks and to dog parks would be ideal. She’s eager for adventures, from sniffy walks to park romps, and all she really wants is a place to call home—a safe, loving environment where she can flourish.
