About Amelia and Sanibel
Amelia and Sanibel are two bonded color-point kittens saved from a TNR project in Florida. Amelia, the more reserved one, tends to shy away when approached but blossoms into playfulness once she feels safe. You’ll often find her happily interacting with toys and exploring her surroundings, albeit cautiously. While she enjoys gentle petting and rewards you with purring, sudden movements can still startle her, and she’s not ready to be lifted just yet. Patience and calm handling will help her grow more confident over time. Sanibel, Amelia’s outgoing sister, is a confident four-month-old Siamese mix. She naturally supports Amelia, showcasing that the world is a safe place. Playful and social, Sanibel loves being petted and is particularly fond of belly rubs when relaxed. Her affectionate demeanor makes her a delightful companion. Both sisters must be adopted together, as their bond is essential for Amelia’s comfort and growth. They are FIV and FeLV negative, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. An experienced owner who can provide a patient environment would be ideal for them. They will be in New York in mid-July.
