About Female age
Trixie is a 7-year-old Boxer in need of a forever home. Currently located southwest of Chicago, she spent her early years being bred repeatedly and hasn't experienced the simple joys of being a pet—until now. Rescued alongside other breeding mothers, she is learning to trust and enjoy life. Despite her past, Trixie has started to blossom in her foster home, finding joy in her favorite toy and showcasing a sweet, curious personality. However, she still has work to do. Trixie requires an adopter who understands the significance of patience and kindness. Due to limited interactions with other dogs since rescue, her compatibility with canine siblings is unknown, and a meet and greet will be needed. It’s time for Trixie to leave her difficult past behind and embrace the love she deserves. She’s ready for a soft bed, a full bowl, and a lap to lean on. Could you be the one to help her turn the page?
