Completely housetrained and treat motivated, he’s demonstrated his sweet nature around other animals. He tolerates cats well, having remained unbothered after being swatted by a resident cat. Arthur enjoys canine companionship, having had positive interactions with multiple dogs, including a recent meet and greet with a female Bernese Mountain Dog where he behaved admirably. In his foster home, Arthur quickly learned daily routines, like patiently waiting for morning outside time. He’s been left uncrated for up to seven hours without issue. After overcoming some health challenges, including a URI and surgeries for entropion eyelids and a tumor, he’s now in great shape, particularly thriving with his regular baths. Arthur has a gentle spirit and is eager to assist with everyday tasks, showcasing his intelligence. He's not suited for city dwelling as the hustle has been stressful for him; a peaceful environment would help him continue to flourish.
