About Obi
Obi is a gentle giant who has patiently waited for his forever home, capturing the hearts of everyone at the shelter. This big, handsome boy greets all who cross his path, making his daily rounds like he belongs here, and bringing smiles with each visit. Playful and incredibly sweet, Obi relishes spending time with his human companions. He enjoys chew toys, cozy resting spots, and firmly believes he should be a lap dog. In his foster home, Obi became a champion cuddler, eager to shower his loved ones with affection. Now at nine and a half years old, his desires are simple. He seeks a warm, soft place to rest and familiar faces to love. Obi would thrive in a home with older children, but as the only dog. While he is not a fan of cats, he has so much love left to give. We are hopeful that someone will recognize the wonderful companion he is and offer him the home he has been dreaming of. If youโre in New York, NY, stop by our Bideawee Adoption Center to meet Obi and see if youโre his match!
