About Obi

Obi is a gentle giant who has been waiting far too long for someone to take him home. This handsome fellow has won the hearts of the staff and volunteers at the shelter with his friendly demeanor and big personality. He enjoys making the rounds in the office, spreading joy as he goes. Though he’s playful and sweet, he’s happiest when lounging close to his people, often preferring a cozy lap. As a senior dog, Obi doesn’t ask for much, just a comfy space to rest and familiar faces to love. He thrives on affection and companionship, having proven himself to be a champion cuddler during his time in foster care. Obi would do best in a home with older children and as the only dog since he doesn't get along with cats. He has so much love to give and is ready to be the devoted companion someone has been missing. If you’re looking for a loving presence to share your life with, Obi might just be the perfect match. Visit him at our Manhattan Adoption Center to see if you connect! We’re a same-day adoption center, so come prepared to meet your new best friend!
