About Emilia
Emilia is a lively 10-week-old female brown tabby tuxedo kitten waiting for her forever home in Grayslake, IL. She was discovered with her siblings when their feral mother found an old outdoor cat shelter and, startled, ran off, leaving the frightened kittens behind. Emilia, named after the Emilia's Short Tailed Oppossum, was the runt of the litter but quickly blossomed with love and support. This adorable little one is a true people-lover and purrs enthusiastically at the slightest touch. Emilia is notoriously food-motivated, often requiring her own bowl at mealtime and expressing her opinion with amusing grumbles. She enjoys playtime, especially with other cats, and would thrive in a home with playful felines who can match her goofy spirit. While she’s been curious about dogs she sees on TV, she hasn’t lived with any yet, so a calm, cat-friendly dog might just be the right fit. Emilia will be spayed on July 30th and will be ready to join her new family by the second weekend of August. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
