About Maxx

Meet Maxx! Maxx is a vibrant 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix brimming with enthusiasm and personality. He spent time in a rural shelter in Idaho, where he struggled to show his true self. Fortunately, he received a second chance and has flourished since joining our rescue. In a home environment, Maxx reveals his happy, adventurous spirit. He may initially be aloof with strangers but warms up quickly, becoming a loyal companion once trust is established. Maxx gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. He’s curious about cats but doesn't intend any harm, so introductions should be managed appropriately. Maxx thrives in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and reliable off-leash. This bright boy is eager to bond with someone who appreciates his zest for life and is willing to take the time to build a strong relationship. Maxx’s adoption comes with great benefits through our Supported Adoption program: free lifetime boarding, follow-up private training lessons, covered medical care for life, ongoing support, training equipment, and a small supply of his current diet to help with the transition. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal friend who brings joy and love into your life, Maxx might just be the perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
