About Tucker
Tucker is an incredible boy who embodies loyalty, affection, and playfulness. This curious and intelligent Basenji mix, around 1 year old, weighs about 70 pounds and is truly a gentle giant. Tucker’s independent streak makes him a natural explorer, perfect for long walks and outdoor adventures. He thrives on structure and consistency, so an experienced adopter who can provide daily exercise would be ideal. He'd prefer to be the only pet in the home, ideally in a kid-free space or with children over 10, who can appreciate his high energy and playful nature. While Tucker is working on his house training, patience and dedication from his future family will go a long way. His story began in the woods of Fouke, Arkansas, where he was found abandoned alongside his parents. As the sole survivor of his litter, Tucker's resilience and spirit shine brightly. Now fostered in Texas, he is more than ready to find his forever home. If you’re an experienced dog handler who can provide the love and structure Tucker needs, he will reward you with unwavering devotion and joy. Are you the one he’s been waiting for?
