About Basil
Basil is a truly special little guy who has shown incredible resilience. He was rescued as a tiny bottle baby and has been soaking up love ever since. Initially a lively kitten, concerns about his growth revealed a diagnosis of congenital megaesophagus, a condition affecting his ability to eat and digest food. Despite this challenge, Basil has become a champion, adapting to a routine that includes several small meals of wet food and some cuddle time after eating to help settle his meals. This affectionate young male is looking for a calm home where he can curl up on a cozy lap. Basil thrives on companionship, whether you are watching TV, reading, or working. Having grown up with dog-friendly large cats and foster kittens, he enjoys respectful furry friends. His ideal home would have someone around for most of the day, and the willingness to maintain his specially tailored feeding routine. Neutered, vaccinated, and litter box trained, Basil is ready for a forever family that can appreciate his affectionate spirit. Could your lap be the one he’s been waiting for?
