Gordita is a remarkable survivor who still believes in the power of love, despite her difficult beginnings. Abandoned in the woods with seven kittens, she took on the huge responsibility of caring for three different litters. Each kitten, ranging in age from two to eight weeks, was in desperate need, and Gordita showed unwavering dedication. She protected and nurtured them through sickness and hunger, even when her own well-being was at risk. After all that she’s been through, Gordita now seeks a home where she can finally be cared for. Initially shy in new situations, a little patience unlocks her sweet and affectionate nature. She’s wonderfully cuddly, often curling up in laps, and enjoys playtime with the other kittens around her. Having experienced real hunger, she's become quite the foodie, never missing a chance to enjoy a good meal. Gordita’s journey has been heart-wrenching, but it also highlights her enduring spirit. She deserves a place where she will be cherished — a sunny spot on the couch, head scratches, and the warmth of companionship.
