About RitaMaggie May

Meet RitaMaggie May, formerly known as Mama Rita. This sweet girl was on the kill list at a high-kill shelter in California, along with her eight puppies. Fortunately, a caring foster stepped in just in time. Although her puppies have found loving homes, Maggie May still eagerly awaits hers. She has a calm demeanor and loves being close to her people, showering them with kisses. Maggie walks nicely on a leash and has a keen interest in food, making her quite trainable. She knows a few commands such as "no" and "come," and is ready to learn more with the right guidance. Initially shy around new people, she becomes affectionate and loving once trust is established. Maggie May gets along well with kids, adults, cats, and dogs, though she’s not fond of chickens. If you’d like to meet this lovely girl, please fill out an application with Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation (WARF) at www.tahoewarf.org and text 775-846-3773. They are waiting with paws crossed!
