About Sheba
Sheba is a 30ish pound, 6-year-old female mixed breed dog. She's had a journey, arriving at Smidget Rescue pregnant and now, after raising her pups, she's ready to bring joy into a forever home. Sheba is slightly larger than the typical small dog focus, which has resulted in her staying at the rescue longer than she'd like. She takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, you’ll experience her loyal and cuddly side. Always eager to please, Sheba enjoys running, playing ball, or lounging on the couch. She's great with other dogs and cats, but her high energy might be too much for homes with small children. While she can bark normally, she also emits high-pitched sounds when she sees something unusual, like a strange dog. With her intelligence and food motivation, training Sheba could be a rewarding experience. New faces may take time for her to feel comfortable with, but with patience and treats, she will warm up. Could you be the loving family Sheba deserves? Your new best friend is just one click away!
