About River Run
River Run faced great adversity before being rescued from a heartbreaking situation in Mississippi, where he was found chained and neglected. Despite this trauma, he retains a gentle spirit and is now safe, although he still needs time to learn what love truly means. This sweet boy is shy and requires a calm, experienced, adult-only home where he can feel secure and gradually trust his new family. Though heβs never experienced the warmth of a family, with patience and understanding, River Run can discover that love is healing. He shows affection once he feels comfortable, but he will need a supportive environment to flourish. All our dogs, including River, will be altered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Donβt worry about the listed location; we offer transportation options within 6 hours of NYC. You can offer River the loving home heβs always deserved. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
