About Rusty

Meet Rusty! Rusty is a gentle little kitten who is still learning to trust people. Though he’s understandably nervous, he’s making progress daily. One way to his heart is through Churu treats—he absolutely loves them! Gentle pets around his whiskers are also appreciated, but he’s not quite ready to be picked up yet. As a quiet observer, Rusty prefers to watch his playful kitten friends from a distance until he feels more comfortable. He has a special bond with his brother, Gus; they are rarely apart and will call for each other if they get separated. You can easily tell Rusty apart by the extra orange coloring on his face, while Gus has more white around his mouth. Both Rusty and Gus would thrive in a calm home with a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. They’d prefer a peaceful setting away from more energetic kittens, where they can develop their confidence at their own pace. With love, patience, and plenty of Churu, Rusty is bound to blossom into a wonderful companion. All kittens under 4 months must be adopted in pairs unless you have another cat at home.
