Peanut is a playful baby boy, born under a porch in Cedar Rapids. He and his siblings were taken in but faced a rough start, which left them a bit anxious. We're working on building his trust every day, and he’s gradually coming out of his shell. Peanut thrives in a calm indoor environment, and he's looking for a home within Iowa. Adoptions are limited to families located about 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, and home visits are required to ensure a good fit. Having been spayed and given all his vaccinations, Peanut is house trained and ready for his forever home. He is currently in our Cedar Rapids adoption center, which operates by appointment only.
