Meet Buddy Brown! He's one of the gentlest souls around, a real gentle giant. After spending three years as a neighborhood stray, a kind Samaritan took him in. Unfortunately, his time indoors wasn't easy, as a resident male cat harassed him, leading to some tough experiences. Buddy ended up contracting FIV, but that hasn't dulled his sweet nature. Upon entering the FIV room at the shelter, he immediately sought out the most scared cat and offered comfort and protection. Given his FIV status, it’s important to keep Buddy healthy and he should only be adopted into a home with other FIV-positive cats. Don’t worry; this condition isn't contagious to humans or dogs. Although his past has shaped him, Buddy can be a bit possessive during feeding time due to his history of food scarcity. Because of this, homes with very young children might not be ideal.
