Peony is a delightful ball of energy and affection. This 5-year-old girl weighs about 45 pounds and embodies happiness. She’s a staffie mix who lights up every room with her wiggles and enthusiasm, making her an absolute joy to have around. Peony gets along wonderfully with everyone—children, dogs, and even cats! Her gentle nature means she's great with toddlers, and she quickly warms to new friends, kissing and cuddling her way into their hearts. Though Peony thrives on routine and structure, she exhibits playful behavior with dogs of all sizes, adjusting her play style depending on her playmates. She's also housetrained, although a little adjustment period might be expected when she transitions to her new home. Peony is not only crate trained but also has her sights set on improving her leash-walking skills. She'll need a dedicated adopter committed to ongoing training. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, Peony is expected to be ready for her forever home by mid-August. With the right guidance and routine, you’ll find that Peony is the dream companion, always ready to spark joy in whatever environment she finds herself in.
