Ayo is a charismatic French Bulldog mix who was rescued from the streets of Philly. After being found with mobility issues, he was brought to Philly ACCT, where a dedicated rescue team took him in. Ayo, despite being a special needs dog, doesn't let that define him; he’s lively, affectionate, and ready to greet life head-on. Ayo is just 3 years old and weighs 25 lbs. He is currently fully vaccinated and microchipped. This small powerhouse is also house trained and gets along well with other dogs, making him a delightful addition to any home. However, he is best suited for families with older children (13 and up) who will respect his needs. Living with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), Ayo requires a family committed to his care. They will need to help him manage his condition by ensuring he maintains a healthy weight, providing ramps for him to navigate safely, and monitoring his activity closely. Ayo cannot be neutered for another nine months, so he needs an adopter who understands the importance of keeping him away from unspayed females during this time. He thrives best in a single-story home where he can freely express his joyful spirit without the risks that come with jumping.
