Meet Rocky, a lovable Hound mix looking for a peaceful forever home. At 5 years old and weighing 38 pounds, he came to us due to circumstances outside his control, having been an adored member of his family. While Rocky thrives in a calm and quiet environment, he does well with gentle kids aged 10 and up, who can help him adjust and feel safe. Though a bit shy initially, Rocky's affectionate nature shines through once he trusts you. He loves to cuddle and may even curl up in bed with you at night. His house manners are excellent; he is crate trained and knows commands like sit, stay, and go potty. He enjoys easygoing walks and cherishes time spent with his humans. With his low-to-medium energy, Rocky makes a wonderful companion. Having lived peacefully with cats, he mostly requires slow introductions when around other dogs. His continuing journey includes gaining a bit more weight and receiving the TLC he deserves. Currently, Rocky is neutered and is part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program, allowing you to bring him home while he completes necessary veterinary care.
