About Georgie Porgie
Meet Georgie Porgie! This 3-year-old neutered male Lab mix—likely with a bit of Pointer and hound flair—deserves a loving forever home. Georgie was once a puppy in a happy home, but when the novelty wore off, he spent two long years alone in the backyard. Luckily, he found his way to a rescue and is now thriving in his foster home in Louisiana, where he enjoys the company of other dogs and all the comforts of indoor living. While Georgie can be a bit shy at first, his curiosity eventually wins out, and he quickly warms up. He's a big fan of car rides and has discovered the joy of squeaky toys—something he missed in his previous life. His foster mom has invested time in training and loves to talk to potential adopters about this sweet boy. Georgie is waiting for his chance to move north and find a forever family. Please note, he is currently located in Louisiana, and we transport our dogs to the Northeast once we have found fosters or adopters. Start your journey together by applying today!
