Meet Cotton! Cotton is a charming 4-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix with a heart of gold. She’s a true companion—always eager to curl up beside you whether you're working from home, relaxing, or heading off to bed. Cotton has been part of the Puppies for Parole program and will soon graduate on July 24, ready to find her forever home. This sweet girl forms strong bonds with her people, though she can be shy around loud or fast-moving strangers. With a bit of patience, her affectionate nature shines through. Cotton is progressing well with her house training and is officially going potty outside. She's learned basic commands like "No," "Leave It," and has a smart approach to training, responding well to positive reinforcement. She doesn’t need a kennel and feels comfortable being left alone while you’re away. Cotton does need to lose a little weight and is currently on a healthy diet, but she still enjoys playful moments. She absolutely adores other small dogs and would thrive with a canine companion, although she’d be perfectly content as your one-and-only. As she prepares for her graduation, Cotton is also learning to gain confidence with her leash and handling. Her growth is a testament to her resilience and need for a loving home.
