About Monty

Meet Monty! Monty is a charming and wonderfully quirky young cat with a big personality and a heart to match. He thrives on companionship and gets along splendidly with cats, dogs, and children. Whether he’s darting after laser dots, playing fetch with his favorite springs, or curling up next to you, Monty is a lively and loving presence. His journey hasn’t been easy. When rescued, he dealt with severe double ear infections leading to hearing loss, as well as dental issues, nasal polyps, lice, malnutrition, and an upper respiratory infection. Because of this, he has a bit of eye discharge and will need regular vet check-ups for potential nasal polyp issues. Monty can be sensitive to being picked up or restrained due to his past, but he’s incredibly affectionate. Offer him your lap, and he will settle in for cozy cuddle time. He’s currently on a prescription hydrolyzed diet for allergies, maintains excellent litter box habits, and prefers an uncovered box with lower sides. Despite his rough start, Monty is a resilient and loving boy, ready to find a forever home with someone who appreciates his unique personality. Could Monty be the perfect addition to your family?
