About Malissa

Meet Malissa! This tiny 12-pound Chihuahua has made great strides since she joined her foster home. When she first arrived, Malissa was quite scared, yet her desire for hugs was evident even then. Now, she’s become a confident little lady who zips around the house as if she owns every corner! Malissa has a lively and independent spirit. While she isn't shy about asking for her space, she is incredibly sweet and affectionate with those she trusts. She gets along well with the other pets in her foster home and loves to play with them on her own terms. One of her most entertaining quirks is barking at animals on TV. If she sees one, she’ll bounce off the couch and rush to the screen to investigate! Fully spayed, vaccinated, and house trained, Malissa sleeps soundly in her gated area each night. She’s looking for a patient, loving family who appreciates her spirited personality and is ready to support her growth in confidence. If you want a tiny dog with a big heart and even bigger personality, Malissa might just be the perfect match for you!
