About Harmony HTX
Meet Harmony. Some dogs manage to keep their hearts wide open, regardless of the challenges they've faced. Harmony is one of those special souls. Found wandering in a part of Houston known for a large stray dog population, she sought out kindness rather than shying away. It was clear she had recently had puppies, but none were ever found; it seems Harmony was likely abandoned after caring for her litter. The heartbreak doesn't end there. BB pellets were lodged between her shoulders, a painful reminder of the cruelty she’s endured, but fortunately, those days are behind her. Despite her past, Harmony is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. She loves gentle pets and happily soaks up attention, greeting everyone with a soft, trusting heart. She gets along beautifully with children and other dogs, and doesn't seem to mind the stray cats she's encountered. Harmony truly lives up to her name, bringing a calm, gentle presence wherever she goes. All she desires is a family to love her after surviving abandonment, motherhood, and unimaginable cruelty. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a remarkable capacity to love, Harmony is ready to fill your home—with exactly what her name promises. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
