About Teeter
Meet Teeter, the ultimate family dog! This young male Chihuahua mix is full of life and joy after arriving from the Duplin County shelter in North Carolina. Initially shy, he quickly blossomed in his foster home, where he happily interacts with his foster dog sister and eagerly greets everyone he meets during daily walks. Teeter is currently mastering housebreaking and crate training, showing impressive progress. He tends to sleep peacefully in his crate, needing only one nighttime potty break. His love for exploration makes him a bit of a daydreamer during walks, as he's still new to leash training and can be easily distracted by all the sights and sounds around him. Eager to learn, he swiftly picked up 'sit' in just a few sessions and is keen on mastering more commands like 'leave it.' He brings joy to encounters with new friends, responding with happy wags and affectionate kisses. As Teeter enjoys playing, he has a gentle nature when wrestling, making him great for families with children. He thrives on attention and activity, so expect him to want to join in during lazy afternoons at home. While he's not yet neutered, his vaccinations are up to date, and he qualifies for a low-cost neutering program once adopted. Teeter is friendly with other dogs, and he would do well in a home with or without a furry sibling. As he learns the ropes of family life, patience is key. Teeter is still a playful puppy, exploring his environment with enthusiasm. With love and guidance, he will continue to flourish into a wonderful companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
